JMI Competitions

Announcing the music competitions for 2010
for soloists and chamber ensembles
(organised by Sagi Hartov)

3rd Israeli Music Competition

1st Prize: £1000 plus recording at Jerusalem Music Centre and live radio appearance.
2nd Prize: Solo performance with the London International Orchestra.

2nd Ernest Bloch Music Competition

1st Prize: £800
2nd Prize: £500

Plus a recital prize for both competitions presented by the Jewish Music Institute.

The Bloch competition is open to candidates of all ages (Israeli music up to age 35).

It is an international focus bringing the ancient yet contemporary musical culture of the Jews to the mainstream British cultural, academic and social life.
