JMI are running a daily programme of Jewish Music on the new Jewish radio station; JCOM radio. Each programme covers a different aspect of Jewish Music including Eastern European Ashkenazi music, Sephardi music, Synagogue music, Israeli music, Classical Jewish music, Suppressed music and New Jewish Music.

There is really something for everyone on JMI's Sound of Jewish Music.

Listeners can also email, text or call the programme to ask for their favourite Jewish songs to be played on air. If you have a song from your childhood that you would like to hear on the programme, please contact Laoise on laoise.davidson@jcomradio.net or by phone 020 8905 5505 or by text 07781 486242 making it clear that you are contacting the Sound of Jewish Music programme.

The Jewish Music Institute is an independent Arts organisation based at SOAS, University of London. It is an international focus bringing the ancient yet contemporary musical culture of the Jews to the mainstream British cultural, academic and social life. Its programmes of education, performance and information highlight many aspects of Jewish music throughout the ages and across the globe for people of all ages, backgrounds and cultures.
