A Yiddish Cabaret: Call for Auditions Auditions: 27 May at 8pm Calling all singers dancers and actors If you would like to offer an act that would be no longer than 4 - 5 minutes, have Yiddish relevance, be understandable to an audience that is not fluent in Yiddish, and be entertaining, then please contact Khayele helenb[at]macunlimited.net right away telling her what you would like to do and how long it takes. Khayele will be holding auditions for the Yiddish Cabaret on Thursday 27 May at 8pm at The Spiro Ark Yiddish Hoyz (164 Grays Inn Road WC1). You should come to Spiro Ark Yiddish Hoyz on 27th and present your piece to Khayele at the audition. (even if its not in its final perfected form). We hope this will be a fun evening in itself and perhaps the first of many opportunities for performing to each other and that this will form the beginning of the 'New Yiddish Shpilers' Join the band All performers may come to the cabaret for half price - £7.50 - this will include your refreshments and help cover the cost of the staging and lighting.
