The Jews Brothers Band
Irreverent, iconoclastic, wickedly playful and on the edge, The
Jews Brothers Band, has a huge cult following in Australasia. With accordion,
mandolin, soprano and tenor saxophones, melodica, double-bass, zydeco
metal washboard and exotic percussion this famously hard-driving five-piece
band features wild Eastern European dance medleys, neo-40s' swing and
hot klezmer-gypsy tunes, all performed with mad 'jazz' improvisations
and a charismatic stage presence. Part of UK Tour.
Supporting Band: Nomadica — a young Indie-Klezmer
band that draws on old Klezmer melodies and style, fusing them with Indian
rhythms.
Presented by JMI in association with The Spitz
