Experts in their fields guide you through the joys and sorrows of Jewish life as portrayed by poets and musicians over the centuries. In the Autumn and Spring Terms we will sing some of the gems of traditional and contemporary song in Yiddish, and Ladino and, for the first time, we will be offering an additional Summer Term for those wishing to learn songs in Hebrew and Judeo Arabic. Individual coaching available too.

Autumn Term: 11 October – 13 December 2007 (10 classes)
Spring Term: 03 January – 6 March 2008, with end of term concert on 6 March (10 classes)
*Optional extra 5 sessions: 27 March , April 3/10 and 1/8 May 2008 (5 classes)

The course consists of 20 classes (Yiddish and Ladino), which run over two terms (note the reduction in cost if you enrol for 20 classes before 11 October)
Rate: £300 (advance booking: £275)
Students and Concessions:£200 (advance booking £175).

* The additional course will concentrate on Jewish Babylonian Song, presented by Dr. Sara Manasseh. CANCELLED!! Cost: £15 per session or £60 for 5 classes paid in advance. Concession rate: £50.
