JMI KlezFest Faculty 2008 Moshe Berlin is a supreme klezmer clarinetist and the leader of He has recorded several CD's:
Several are distributed in the US by Tara Publications. He has recently had a new CD published by the Hebrew University called "The Klezmer Tradition in the Land of Israel". It is the culmination of Berlin's research contribution to "The Anthology of Music Traditions in Israel". A book is available to accompany this CD including an Introduction and notes. Berlin teaches Klezmer music at the music department of the Bar-Ilan University Ramat-Gan Israel. He has played concerts in France, Switzerland, Germany, Russia and has participated the Zfat klezmer festival where he won some first prizes. He cites that his main job is playing for Jewish Simkhas.
