Fees and Booking Information
modified January 28, 2010

Lower fees again this year

Last year we were in the throes of a severe credit crunch.  We made bold plans to reduce costs to you and to ourselves – and we were thrilled to have had more students than ever attending KlezFest – with many saying that it was the best ever!

Fees: We are still keeping costs down this year to make it easier to attend – and also building on last year to produce an even more focused, useful and exciting time for you.  You can see the details of the faculty and programme in other sections.  You get tunes to download and learn as soon as you register.

Ot Azoy! Yiddish Language and Culture Crash Course
(one week: 1 – 6 August 2010)

Full rate = £235
Student rate = £135

KlezFest/Song School and Dance Strand
(one week : 8 – 13 August 2010)

Full rate = £235
Student rate = £135
(ensemble discount -£10)

Tumbala! New - Special two-week Yiddish Language and Song course  - integrated with both Ot Azoy! and KlezFest
(two weeks: 1 – 13 August 2010)

Full rate = £400
Student rate = £200
(no early booking or ensemble discount)

Discounts: There is an early booking discount of £15 if booked and paid by 1 May (now passed) and some bursaries or scholarships are available. There will be another hefty reduction of a total of £50 (£30 on student rate) if you attend both KlezFest and Ot Azoy!  Furthermore if you are attending and you bring a friend who has not been before, then you and the friend will each get a further £15 discount.

You can pay securely by PayPal when you click the button below. (We would much appreciate it if you were to choose the option to pay the costs of this transaction yourself). Please explain what the payment is for in the ‘message’ section.

Food and accommodation are not included: We are aware that eating together without stress is important to the happiness of the staff and students. While it is not possible for us to provide the catering (and food is not included in the cost) we are making plans to be sure that you can have your refreshments and eat your meals in designated places. A café is available on campus during the day and in the evenings we will arrange for meals to be taken together and lead the way, so no-one will feel left out.

To apply please download and complete the Registration form (see above), save the form on your computer with your name and email it to yvonne@jmi.org.uk. Or you can print it out and send with your cheque to Yvonne Glass, JMI Summer Schools,  P O Box 232, Harrow, Middlesex, HA1 2NN
