The UK Shostakovich Society present an International Conference – ‘ Shostakovich: Centenary Reflections’ – at Fitzwilliam College, Cambridge , from Friday, 17 September– Sunday, 19 September 2006 . Leading speakers from Russia , Ukraine, Azerbaijan , Israel , USA and Europe have confirmed their participation, and music will be from, amongst others, the Fitzwilliam String Quartet, Marina Primachenko and Svetlana Savenko.
