5th Cantors
Convention, London 2010
Guest presenters, returning by popular request, are the internationally esteemed Cantor Asher Hainowitz of the Yeshurun Synagogue Jerusalem and the renowned Music Director and accompanist Raymond Goldstein (below left) of the Great Synagogue in Jerusalem.
This year’s convention will highlight the works and style of Pierre Pinchik (1893?–1971), one This is an unrivalled opportunity for practicing chazanim and ba'alei t'fila as well as lay leaders, choirmasters, choristers and congregants to meet colleagues, compare notes, brush-up, refine and broaden skills and learn new music guaranteed to enhance services. Conference Concert Convention starts on Monday 21 June at 5.30pm with Registration and a welcome reception at St John's Wood Synagogue, followed by the convention concert, which will include the final judging of the Tephilharmonic Young Cantor’s competition for 2010.
