First performed eighty years ago, Bertolt Brecht’s chilling one-act play, The Jewish Wife, is a chronicle of everyday German life at the dawn of the Nazi regime. As the Third Reich tightens its grip, relationships contort and fear and suspicion penetrate every layer of society.
Katharina Reinthaller directs this exclusive performance with actors:
Susanne Fiore and Peter Halpin
plus pianist Ilan Lazarus.
Followed by a short Yom Hasho’ah ceremony led by Rabbi Roni Tabick and singer Aaron Isaac.

The Union of Jewish Students in conjunction with the Jewish Music Institute, Rene Cassin and a host of London Jewish Societies, are proud to present our first music concert, ‘Together in Tune’.
This concert will bring together the Jewish and Gypsy, Roma, and Traveller community, through the celebration and recognition of our similar music styles. Featuring a variety of highly talented, versatile, professional singers, dancers and bands from these two communities the unique event will bring together Jewish-Roma cultural life in a celebration of music, dance and culture.
