Family Arts Festival: Jonah and the Wailers

Sunday 20th October 2013 | 3:00 pm - 4:00 pm

Jonah and the Wailers

JMI and The Jewish Museum are working on a collaborative venture for the Family Arts Festival.
The Jewish Music Institute’s interactive musical story adventure ‘Jonah and the Wailers’ returns to the Jewish Museum. This is a magical take on an old Biblical favourite created for 4-8 year olds by ‘junk musician’ Saul Eisenberg and storyteller Vanessa Woolf with special guest klezmer clarinetist Susi Evans.  Saul invites participants to roll up their sleeves and join his ever-expanding  Junk Orchestra to create a fantastic soundscape, enhancing Vanessa’s captivating storytelling with an improvised Junk Score.
