Due to the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic our Holocaust Memorial Day ceremony will take place as a hybrid event. The theme for Holocaust Memorial Day 2022 is One Day.

City Hall is working closely with the Holocaust Educational Trust (HET) and The Holocaust Memorial Day Trust (HMDT) to create a ceremony that will commemorate victims of the Holocaust and provide time for reflection for those affected by more recent genocides.

The theme One Day is explained eloquently on the HMDT website further; https://www.hmd.org.uk/what-is-holocaust-memorial-day/this-years-theme/
